About The Instructor

All classes and workshops are taught by
Paula Conquest.  Paula attained her education and formal training in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies from Northeastern University and Gallaudet University.   She worked for many years in Human Services and Education with  Deaf, Deaf/Blind and Hard of Hearing children and adults with various developmental disablilities.  

On a personal note, Paula is most notably a Mom of two children who were each signing before they could speak, the original Itsy Bitsy Signers! Shortly after attaining such successful communication with her own babies, she paired her training and  experience in the development of Itsy Bitsy Signers.  

Since it's inception in 2006, Paula has been able to help many families better communicate with their pre-verbal hearing babies as well as pre-verbal babies with vaious developmental delays.
